       Power Of A Friend

              As I am awakened swiftly
           from a deep and peaceful sleep
              my heart is racing wildly
             like a million little feet.


The panic that I used to feel
has turned to something new
a feeling of strength and power
that I have somehow learned from you.


                  You have empowered me
                  to take a look within
               and find the love of a friend
                where fear has always been.

Woh jo tal jati rahi saar se bala shaam kay baad
Koi tu tha kay jo deta tha Dua shaam kay baad…

Aakhein bharti hai shaab-e-hijer yateemoon ki tarah
Sard ho jati hai har rooz hawa shaam kay baad…
Shaam tak kaid raha karte hain dil kay andar
Dard ho jatey hain saray Reha shaam kay baad…

Loog thak har kay soo jatay hain lakin JanaaN
Hum ne khush ho kay tera Dard saha shaam kay baad
Shaam se phelay talak laakh soolaye rakhain
Jaag uthti hai mohabat ki Anaa shaam kay baad…

Khawab takra kay palat jatay hain band ankhoon se
Jane kis jurm ki kis ko saza hai shaam kay baad…
Chand jab roo kay sitaroon se galay milta hai
Ek ajaab rang ki hoti hai fiza shaam kay baad…

Hum ne tanhaye se poocha kay milo gi kab tak
Us ne bay-chaini se foran kaha…shaam k baad…
Main agar khush bhi rahon phir bhi mere sinay main
So-gawari koi rooti hai sada shaam kay baad…

Tum gaye ho tu Seeha rang kay kapray pehnay
Phirti reehti hai mere ghar main kazza shaam kay baad…
Din ajab moti main jakray huve rekhta hai mujhay
Mujhay is baat ka ahsaas huva shaam kay baad…

Koi bhoola huva ghaam hai jo mujh ko
